Foker D.VII, Udet's bird in 1/48 scale

Installing the main wing was a struggle.....start with the outer struts, or start with the inner struts....wish I had seven hands to do this!

Started with outer struts then removed them and started with the inner struts. This made me have to lengthen the outer struts slightly.

David I'm sure you've seen the multitude of jigs out there for stackin' and rigging biplanes? Even out of Legos could work.

Oh, well here's one.

And if you're interested in doing more WW1 kits you may want to invest in something like this

Easily worth the $35 price tag after what I struggled with!

Adding some control cable rigging, aft control surfaces almost done, need to add the elevator tension cables and wing control rigging.
