Finders Keepers

Thanks for posting your replies gents, I'm glad to hear you like her so far.

:D

Sorry for the late reply, I spent the last six days or so with the in-laws in 'upstate' New York so I have been away from modeling and the 'puter for a spell. I did look in via smart phone occasionally but was internet free for the most part. My son has no school this week either so I'm pretty busy with all sorts of stuff.

Not much progress to report now, working with oils and that's slow going so I did start knocking up a small base for this and I can share that.

Okay,

I gotta get back to the outside world: yard work, playing catch with the boy, etc...

:Hiay

Great looking base Ken!!

Curious as to where upstate NY you were...as that is my old stomping grounds...too bad the weather here has been sucky at best!

B) B) Great idea Ken. Your vehicle in OD looks really cool. The paint is just beautiful. The base will bring this up a traet!
I love the mix idea of American and German in OD.(y)

Ian.

Thanks all of you who have been replying in my absence, life outside of the forums is kicking my butt (in a good way). Work/play/family and all of that stuff has been the priority due to the arrival of all this warmer, sunnier, snow-less weather.

I have been modeling at night in my free time, I just haven't been very good at taking photographs of much lately. I've also been really distracted with my 1/72 Finemolds Millennium Falcon. :D

I think I'm done planting things on the base, I just need to get at it with the pigments and such. Once I get the wheels and tracks mounted, I'll take some pictures of the half track.

Know what you mean about priority's. We have a friend, a single mom, who's 5 year old boy is playing little league this summer and found out he doesn't have a cheering section so me and the Mrs. are making it a point to attend all his games we can. Usually 3 games a week. I look forward to those nights more than any during the week. (y)

Beautiful work Ken :notworthy :notworthy
