Sitting here going through my Dad's old photography stuff. Found his Nicca brand camera that he bought in Japan on the way to Korea in 1952-3. It's amazing to me the complexity of this thing. Two view finders, 4 rotary knobs that I have no idea what they do.
I open it up and low and behold....there's a roll of film in it! I can not tell you when the last time he used this camera. It's not in good shape, there's rust starting to form on the body and the leather grip casing on the body is deteriorating.
Big question, what do you think the chances the film is still good?? I'm not sure exactly where in the house this has been stored all the years, I don't think I have ever seen this camera.
Second question, do I trust the photo development folks at the local Walgreens to develop this?
This is the same camera he used to take these pictures.
