Fess up, what did you overstock on?

My most often used is The Bug. Second most often is the Ausfwerks Fender Bender with The 5 Speed third, the 8 inch Hold and Fold is rarely used. Other than for a review, I have not had a reason to use the Wire Wrangler yet. Truth be told, I prefer a simpler tool like the Bendicator from Ausfwerks:

Kit overstocks are normal...

Last time I checked I had 15 Panthers, 21 Shermans, 8 tigers, 18 Bf-109, 9 Fw-190, and these are just the unbuilt ones still in my stash... Some kits are old enough to be obsolete (hey, that would be a cool GB), and I have not tried counting the Pz III or IV families...

Regards,

Since I wrote that several months ago, add two more Shermans, 1 Bf-109, 5 Mark VI B Light Tanks, plus more stuff you see me posting on Latest Acquisitions.

Regards,

Tanex7, if I didn't mention it already.

Brass tubing..or pipe depending on who's brand I buy. Sure wish someone would restock the Lion's Roar stuff!

Well, my overstock is still kits!

I ended up tossing out over 100 bottles of acrylic, enamel, and lacquer paints (PolyScale acrylic, XtraColor, White Ensign, Aeromaster, and Humbrol tins of enamel, and Floquil lacquers) all gummied or dried.

Regards,

Yeah, recently I've found myself having to dump several jars of paint. As far as "overstocking" a few weeks ago I gave up on finding Tenax any where, even online stores were showing it as out of stock, I went on Ebay and found a case of 12 bottles for 60 bucks with free shipping :woohoo: . I couldn't pass that up.

I did that once, by the time I got down to the last 4 or 5 bottles I was finding the evaporation took it's toll. Wonder if refrigeration would help reduce evaporation.

LHS has been keeping it in stock, if I see a bottle I grab it.

Just keep it out of any direct light and it should be fine. During the last Tenax scare a awhile back I bought a few extras and kept them in a drawer. They were fine by the time I got to them.

Kits of course. Not that I have a huge stash but I still have more than I will ever be able to build in 10 years unless I quit my job and do no house and yard work. Of course I still have plenty more that I want too. :facepalm

I have five 80 pound bags of dry pigments and a steamer trunk sized box of microballons in my basement. :blink
