Believe it or not the FE is just under twice the size of a DH with a 50ft !! wingspan...

No wonder it was no good as fighter and became a night bomber
I have lots to learn with WWI stuf !

Have you visiting the Vintage Aviator web site? They have been assisting WnW in developing their kits:

Click the image and look around.

A few nice images can be found here:

Sadly, the sharkmouth in the search item I looked for was a P-40 at the same air show (hoping that Fe-2B had a mouth).

Regards,

Just think of the learning process Aviation had during that time Paddy, there were quantum leaps of engineering during those forming years.

The rigging about drove me bonkers on the Pup, still have some bad spots that should be addressed on it but if I fix one thing, something else goes slack. Wonder if there's an elastic string that could be used??

I used std fishing line on my Brisfit and heat shrunk it, thats my plan with the FE2b, its just rather more complicated

We need a campaign I tell you!

I got the Albatros D V for Christmas.

I have done my best with these but the museum is in darkness to create an atmosphere the Bomber hall is unlit with just a few spot lights. This makes photos almost imposable. The first picture is as they were taken un enhanced so you can see the problem i was having -)

So you can understand they are a bit grainy

What he said! :)

This will be a great build. All the critics rave about the WNW kits... wish I had the room for 1/32d!

Where did you take the pictures?

Hendon RAF museum London Barney

You can see how slow the shutter speed had to be, second last picture, people walking got blurred ....

Anyone got any good ideas about buckles ? a lot of those buckles are really small with 4-5 wires of one mounting ?? cant see me doing that with a 1/32 bobs buckle.
