This is the 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit of the F4U-4 Corsair. I did this one for the weekend madness group build on another site. I started this at 5 p.m. on Friday.
By late Friday nite this is where I stopped.
On Sat. I clear coated it and put on the decals. For reason masking the canopy gave me fits. Everything I tried just wouldn't work!! I guess I wasn't holding my mouth right. So, I just gave up and painted it free hand. I think it turned out o.k. I finished this bird about 4 p.m. Sun. That's the most work I've done on a bird in 2 days for a long time! It felt really good to step up to the challenge! Here she is!
