This is Revell's F-15C kit based on Monogram's old F15A kit and it's not a bad kit, some parts are sho w ing their age. New exhaust parts are included to make it C model I guess. I want to make it gear up as I already have an E model with gear down. Which is a fantastic kit. Managed to get a few parts together and cut out a piece of tin can to make the front gear door look better this AM. Gary S.

Not too trilled with the instrument panel. At least the canopy will be closed. A lot of tape and just plain force was used on the fuselage. These old Monogram kits are beat it to fit and paint it to match kits, but with in my price range and the decals look nice. Gary S.

After a lot of filing and sanding the inner engine inlets are smooth and painted. Gear doors are installed for gear up operations. The wings and fuel tank are assembled but not attached. The nose cone wind on with a little clean up and a vertical spreader made from spruce was installed into the fuselage opening where the nose attaches in order to make the fit better. Not the greatest fitting model, but I've done worst. Thanks for looking,Gary S.

She's shaping up just fine!
What does the USAF do with the empty space behind the pilot's seat on the C-model Eagle?

Had to call out the big iron convinced in order to mate up the nose section to the fuselage.Strips of plastic are needed on the lower wing half to fill a small gap. Included in the photo is the F-15E I guilt around 15 years ago by Revell. A really nice kit!! Gary S.

Wings are on with some convincing tape. Fit not too bad. The center fuel tank and the simplified exhaust nozzles are assembled. Pilot temporarily seated for hand and stick placement. Vertical fins to be left off till after painting. Gary S.

First coat of it. gray. Some touch up is needed.I used Rustoleum gray sandable primer. It was recanted into a paint jar and thinned with mineral spirits. It came out a little splotchy so I reverted to a final coat out of the spray can. After it gets a touch up it's will get a light sanding to smooth out the over spray before the other color. Gary S.
