Looking at the 3D printed wheel well, I am fairly impressed. You are not going to get that kind of detail with injection molding.
Yeah the kit is going to be expensive, but I just bought several ResKit 3D print kits for my CH-54 and they were over $100 when totaled up. I don't remember what the Ch-54 kit ran but it was pricey as well.
So, 3D interior and wheel wells with landing gear struts and injection kit that is made for the 3D parts, probably going to be a win overall.
Yeah Bob, I know how you feel about EDUARD, but they HAVE upped their game quite a bit from the issue you had YEARS ago.
While tempted, I will probably pass on this. I have a Trumpy P51B and a ton of other kits and I don't need any more.

I caused quite a flap on X when I offered my opinion about weathering bombs. As if a man might go flying about in wartime for months without dropping them.
Well they wouldn't be pristine but they wouldn't be rusty weathered. Modern weapons would be like new.
My issue is that according to Eduard, the kits (series planned) will NOT include injection molded counterparts, only the injection plastic need to use the 3D printed items. Aftermarket companies are also screwed but then again, Eduard didn't want the competition. On the opposite end is Border with their pre-painted Mustang in 35th scale with no aftermarket (yet).
I forgot to mention that the only 'upgrade' that can be made to the kit are 3D-printed parts already in the colors needed requiring only weathering.
So far, being an BFC member, my pre-order price is $140USD before shipping (as an example, my $10 48th scale P-51B Overtrees box was to be $50 shipping). This is what I have been sent so far:

Supposedly the point of the 3D printed parts is that they can make the parts better as printed than they can do as molded, and overall a bit cheaper for the quality. I get it. I didn't know that they were including a BOOK which makes the value even better. I also had not seen the full breakdown on everything that was included. I am also a BFC member though I just don't buy as much as I used to. Might have to consider getting this after all.

Apparently some of the kits supplied to Sprue Brothers are missing the wheel hubs R3, R4 & R5. They are suspending shipping until they receive the missing parts from Eduard. For anyone who already has the kit, the missing parts will be forwarded when received. They aren't sure if this a problem for all kits supplied to vendors or just the batch they received.
