Completely stripped, much better! Compare to the left unused fret still painted...

Note the striations which sometimes looks like wood grain...

The idea was to fold the details and skin the kit cockpit to have the same result as the Eduard (far more expensive) 3 D printed cockpit:

Looks to me that with all that molded in detail, painting it shouldn't be a problem. ldguy Gary
