Hi All,

Some four years ago after more than 10 years without modelling I decided to start modelling again. This excellent Trumpeter kit was the first of my second modelling life.

I started building with a minimal of tools and got very far but never finished it, till now, last weekend I decided to finish the beast, and this is what I've got till now (y)

The 60cm Morser and carriage;

Very cool Erik. I have the one without rail bogies. When it first came out I started the Dragon kit, but this Trumpeter one is way better. Its looking really good and I cant wait to see how it turns out. (y) (y) (y) (y)

Looking good,Erik! (y)

Greetings,Ron.

That thing is a real beast!
it's kind of surreal, almost science fiction like.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Karl.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi guys Thanks for the comments! And sorry for my late response, I was away for a training course in the UK for 2 weeks, so not much modelling for me the last weeks. But I made some progress, two days ago I finished the second railway truck, and today I gave the beast a primer coat! Hope you like it!

The last work on the last railway truck;

That looks fantastic Erik. (y) (y) (y) (y)
Do the rail cars hold the gun steady or is it fragile when all together?

Hi James,

The railcars can carry the gun very well, it's very strong and not at all fragile, the only thing is the base, wich is good but will need some reenforcement if you would like to move the whole model at once, base and all.
