I have no idea what I'm doing. Big box, not a lot of parts.

It will be out of the box. Don't laugh.

Not sure the part count Jeff but for a kit this size it's not that many. They all just BIG! Really doesn't look like it take much time to knock it out, painting is another story :rotf

I box of wheels! These were steel wheels right?

So I'm going with Loki. Dark Grey is the color, suggestions on how to liven it up?

Refer to my Stug lighter grey mottling on top, then lots of dust/dirt all over the lower areas.
Used enamel base color and a lot of super thinned Vallejo for the shading & weathering. Being super thinned (with water) it would take a lot to do a little so it was fairly easy to not overdo it.

This thread bears resurfacing, a great example of grey in action.

Rock on! :ro:

Rock on! :ro:

It is, hope Sven doesn't delete any more of those photobucket images. :bang head

This is one reason I request not to use Photobucket, especially on articles like this.

Drawing inspiration from Paul Budzik's latest video I adapted the ol' drill press and the styrene rod lasted just long enough to get all the road wheels sanded down. Very easy.

I got to order a bunch of XF 63 but I can't think of anything else. Need some red for the Bulldog, shipping is going to cost more than the paint. :facepalm

Lots of construction I can do on this monster though, I'll be busy till it shows up.

Thanks Eddy

I wedged in some time between dealing with things and things dealing with me and got some construction done. Really this is not many parts, they are big parts but not that many of them. I really think if I had a good Marathon session I could get the construction done in a day.

Yeah, this thing is going to be big.

Yep I read compared to the Trumpy this was a walk in the park build wise but it still builds into a pretty nice Morser.
