Sometimes colored in wrongly,I can tell by looking at camo-uniforms,[original black & white footage]I do find these interresting to watch.

Whether colored correctly or not, they sure give you a sense of being there.

I think it's funny when you can "recognize" someone in historical pictures, because the image was used
as inspiration for a figure sculpt.

You are absolutly right,Tom!

First thing what comes to mind is ;the MG42 Waffen SS soldier with that raincape over his normal clothes at the battle of the bulge[Poteau ambush]Seems to me he is rather popular as a figure.
Dragon and MANY other companies have done him.
