Great video Mats. Canada almost bought them to fill the Close Combat role with the new Leopards but went with a LAV-III upgrade instead.

The knifes, sanding sticks and glue came out a lunch today. Got the swing arms and drive housing attached to the hull and a put the plug in a large square hole in the hull. (Maybe there is a motorized version in Korea?)

Inner road wheels, drive sprockets and idlers cleaned up.

The outer road wheels come in two pieces, before and after assembly.

All photos taken under the watchful eyes of Moses, patiently waiting for the session to finish so he can have a nap in the light tent.

Here's another inspirational video, i would like to see the "Hägglunds Bandvagn" (the ones you see towing the CV90 out of the swamp) as a model :) that would be great, it's an amazing vehicle.

That's a good start Rich, road wheels - gotta love'em :blink

You also have a poser of a cat - looking great - more photos of Moses as you build please ? :D

Cheers,
Laurence

Got some primer on the wheels last night before bed. In between Domestic Engineer tasks today I got them painted.

This evening was about 2 hours of trimming, filing, bending and gluing PE for the Commander's hatch.

Need to fill those holes on the inside of the hatch and add a grab handle. The kit cupola has nearly the same detail, but better scale thickness with the PE.

My activities tonight were not nearly as interesting and did not require close supervision. I do make a good chair warmer according to Malaika.

The Canadian Army has been using the BV206 for many years.

One of them days where you fight the PE beastie eh? Frustrating to the max - we all know that and we are supporting your efforts. Thanks for sharing Rich. (y)

Don't forget about the cats when you post next pics please :D

There is a choice between vinyl one piece or non-working, two piece individual links, the "rubber" pad is separate.
