Completed my first 3D Design Project tonight

Some of you know that I've taken up doing freelance 3D Design work, and late last year, I was hired to design a German WW1 Type R Zeppelin, that would be produced as a 1/700 scale resin kit. Tonight I finally finished the project, and I wanted to share screen shots of what I did.

I submitted all the files to my client this evening, and I'm hoping that he likes everything. I already had one round of changes that I had to do. I'd had a few things I'd decided to leave out for the sake of detail on such a small subject, but the client wanted. There were also a few things I'd just forgot to add, that I had to add after the first submission.

Not at this point no. I need to clarify it w/ my client, but I should be receiving one of the kits when its produced. I think that I'm going to try to make that a standard part of my payment, that I get one of the kits when produced.

I've already got an idea of how I want to display it, but I'm going to have to wait till I actually see it in person, to know whether my idea will work or not.

Thanks Dave.

Found out last night that the client has accepted the models, so this project is finally done. I'm so glad to finally get rid of it, haha. I started working on it last November, so this project has drug on for a very long time, and so many times I was ready to wash my hands of it and walk away, but thankfully I was able to push through all the problems I had and get it finished.

Already have 2 projects lined up for the same client. The next project is a modern cargo container ship, and I'm also doing a Soviet Navy Type 41 Destroyer.

Thanks Chuk!

If this sort of thing interests you guys, I'll make sure to post periodic updates as I progress on my projects.
