CF-104 (1/48 Eduard)

I get a bigger kick out of the fact your work space is no bigger than mine and I'm on a 3*5 drafting table so cluttered up I've only got 1 square foot to work in.

The pigment work on the can, nice! :vgood:

Some back story on 899. It was the second last CF-104 built. It was assigned to 2 Wing Grostenquin, France in Jul 63. It transferred to 3 Wing Zwiebrucken, Germany in Feb 64, 1 Wing Lahr, Germany in Jul 67 and 1 CAG Baden, Germany in Jun 70. It returned to Canada for a Life Extension overhaul in Dec 78. It returned to Germany until Mar 86 when it was Struck off Strength and transferred to the Turkish Air Force serialed 8-899. It was retired in 1994 and traded to the Bulgarian Museum of Aviation for a Lim-5 in 1998.

Cheers,
RichB
