Man, those guys have it rough (I mean that). Can you imagine humping all that gear and wearing all that clothing in that heat? They should get medals for that alone. Seriously.
On a lighter note ... (and I say this with all due respect for the tone of this post and with respect towards all our service men and women in country) ... now I know what color to paint rearview mirrors. (see photo). I think its just the base color, or lots of weathering pigment.

I couldn't imagine carting that stuff around- I work exposed to the heat and cold and whatever mother nature is throwing around, but the men and women that face the dangers our and anyone else's soldiers face get my respect.
