Where do you guys get your brass plate for name plates and stuff?

I've tried cutting some but I can't cut a straight line! :frantic

I got one awhile back for my still unfinished Titanic model from this guy on Ebay.

Most trophy shops should have some brass plates in stock in various sizes. They also usually have an engraving machine to do the wording. Not all Jewelry stores will have the ability to engrave stuff in a timely manner. They also won't have the blank stock.

As for cutting the brass material out Bob, it takes practice. I cut stuff out with a jewelers saw all the time, it always takes some swipes with a good file to smooth out the cut side like I want it, but usually not much. :hmmm

Thanks guys, Paul I got a jewelers saw and was doing pretty good with it till I noticed the blade had gone way off course, then it broke....:bang head I have spare blades but can't put my hand on them.

I'll hit up the guy on Ebay, thanks guys!
