Daddies little stormtroopers go back to school tomorrow, I have a day off work, so after the chores, I'll hopefully have time to finish the decals on this one, then on to the internals. In the meantime you'll find me on You Tube watching the 2001 Bud Shootout !!

Thanks all glad you seem to like it so far. Finished the decals around an hour ago and will let them dry until this evening then seal them with a (brushed) coat of Klear/Future. Tomorrow I'll shoot a 'wet' coat of gloss and then build-up the internals.
Could be on the shelf by the weekend !!

Stickers finished:
Kit decals followed by another coat of Johnsons Klear/Future applied with a 15mm flat sable brush, then sprayed a single 'wet' coat of Humbrol 'Clear Cote'(sic) at fairly high pressure 18-20psi.
Mmmmm, shiny :drool . More soon.

Once again, thanks all glad you all seem to like these two projects I got happening. Must admit I'm loving them too, such a change of pace from the aircraft builds. I mentioned before that the 'Grand Plan' is to do one car from each year 1986-2006... Well the 1989 car & decals arrived today from Mike Hermann in Allentown... Another Dale Jarrett car so be ready to join me for that later in the year:
Had to revise the time-frame for completing the T'bird a little as today was my 'orientation' session at for my 'job' working for FIFA when the Football World Cup plays here in a few weeks;
Tomorrow (Fri) the kids are finishing early as it's the funeral for one of their teachers;
Saturday & Sunday, I never get any modelling done anyways and Monday is ANZAC day - 100 Years commemoration of the Gallipoli Campaign, very big event here (and rightly so), so we have a public holiday.
All means I won't be back at my bench before Tuesday. Really frustrating but that's how it rolls sometimes, must admit tho' juggling two jobs and a career and the whole house-husband thing is better than just doing the house-husband thing alone !!

Wooo... now that would be cool. Very inclusive, those sleek Snyder Trophy Racers of the 30s or the WWII Vets of the Reno Air Races, Nascar, F1, Dirt trackin' DRAG Racin'.
I got nothing else to do today, I'll see if I can thunk up a good name.
