What technique did you use to distress the white paint?

The hairspray technique ,
Decanted some hairspray in a container.
Rest it for a minute or 2 to get all the aerosol out......... and then i spray it on with the airbrush.

Let it dry ....than spray the white acrylic(Vallejo)on ,
When thats dry i moisture the surface ,then i start chipping with a tooth pick , old stiff brush and a toothbrush.

Applied the base for the mud.......a concoction of wood glue, old coffee,dirt,Vallejo paint and some railway powdered stuff.
