Connie Maxwell Children's home. Special place in Greenwood.

Greenwood Mills plant number 5, or whats left of it. Building was well over 120 years old but lived out its usefulness. Textiles, gone as slow as the mill is being dismantled. They are actually taking the materials from the old mill and selling them for new construction. That distressed look is in you know.

Lander University. I grew up playing on the campus. This building is called Old Main.

North Main Church..

One of the old homes, this one is a furniture store too boot.

We have a annual Festival of Flowers in Greenwood. Fuji Film has a huge plant here. These things are living plants, they are all over main street.

Widest Main Street in the World...or so we've been told. And one of the two "sky scrapers" in town.

Yes, we read in the South, that's a new Library being built.

Greenwood was built around the railroads, only fitting to have a Railroad Historical society here.

This building has recently been restored to its original beauty. Known as the old Cotton Exchange.

and another row of buildings just revitalized.
I'll take some shots around Abbeville, where I work. LOTS to see there.
