Another Newbie

Hi to all on Tanks an Things.


I am pretty much on my L plates when it comes to modeling and have only just bought my first airbrush ( it's still at the post office !). I have no set direction in what I like to build, as long as there detail to look at and not a blank plastic shell.
Although Ships an Planes have been on the bench to date, Tanks may drift across hmy: .

Hiya Smurff ,

Well Tanks can be lots of fun too , I would reccomend any of the later models from Tamiya in 1/35th scale as the part fit is excellent , Dragon make some way nice kits but for the less experienced the instructions will be a bit confusing , they also usually have one or more etch frets included and it can be very confronting to the beginner .

If there is any help you need we have all the help you will ever need on site .

No set direction is a good direction IMO, try 'em all.

I build tanks, planes, sci-fi, autos etc. and they're all just as fun.
