Well I guess I am not getting this. I ordered 5 for myself and some of the guys from the club. At $158.00 US for shipping I think we will have to pass. Still looks like a heck of a rig though. Wish I could find it somewhere else. Closest thing I found a was a Martha Stewart gizmo but it doesn't get smaller than 1".

For a 1mm circle and/or hole I would use my Waldron punch set. I have a couple of drop compasses that I can put a sharp blade in and cut circles up to a couple inches in diameter.

The shipping cost for those was just a bit on the outrageous side James I would have passed as well.

Got to tell you , that I own three set of punches and there are in between sizes that become an annoying issue as nothing is the right size.

Bigger sizes can be done with the said compass . The difficulty lies in the small ones for me.

I thing the postage issue may be related to Canada . It does not seem to be so pricey to the US.

I played with this a bit last night and man is it smooth. I love it. I was making holes so small I couldn't see them and getting frustrated. My wife said try a bigger hole to see if it works and voila it did. So I made some smaller ones and they worked. She brought over the paper I was trying earlier and when held to the light I finally saw that I had made holes, just too small to notice until we held it up.
Got mine through the US and it was expensive. Rate of exchange etc. When I get home I will add the address of the US distributer. I'm going to try it out with tape to make masks for the IP of the Stork. If it cuts as well as the paper did I'm ecstatic.

I didn't see that one. i don't mind the preorder, but I do mind that the 60 degree only cuts material to .004", so that eliminates styrene and the other blades aren'y expected until June.

Thats the place Bob. I ordered mine and it took just over a week. Didn't see the pre order. I hope to make some masks this weekend and will post up the results and observations then.

Yes it did. When I first found out about them they were from China and I didn't trust the site. When I saw they had a place in the3 US and could do paypal I went for it.

Okay everyone I apologize I don't have better pics. Will see how they turn out after painting. But here are the masks for the instruments for a 1/35 Hobby Boss Storch. I'm really impressed with them personally. It is difficult to gauge where to set the needle though in the smaller sizes. The measuring tape on the slide is not the most exact. But with some trial and error you can find the spot. So 15 minutes saw all instrument faces cut and masked which is so much better than trying to do it otherwise. I hope the cutting mat will give an idea of size.
