Iron Mike
Master At Arms And Resident Curmudgeon
Howdy friends! What a time we had this past Saturday on our excursion to Sumter, SC! Loads of models and we got to visit with many old friends! Deals? We got 'em as well! Here's the proof.
Senator Mike Roof met us at the door and provided us with press credentials, thanks Mike!!
The Make and Take booth was busy, the next generation at work.
On to the tables!
And now for something completely different...
Lots of ships.
Some cool stuff from Roger Woods, GCMB member and lurker at MA.
Not sure who built the hotrod Pacer, but it was cool.
From the scratch built table.
Lots of Sci-Fi at this show.
Digging the "rabbit ears"!
BIG rods
Miscellaneous category
Someone built a model of me, Chris & Bob!
Inside the venue.
Moon Puppy and some of our loot.
One of our lurker brethren, Shawn, brought a fantastic diorama. Due to circumstances (he had to be home early), he did not enter, but gave us a private viewing in the parking lot. Great stuff, Shawn!
That was too god not to show off!
Back inside after lunch.
These next two are scratch built, really well done!
Shiny!
To Tom! :drinks
WILD PAINT JOB!!
Ken Friend brought more of his fantastic metal finished work, my photos do not do these justice.
Was it the Boogeyman?
CAUTION!!!! NAKED PICTURE
More cool stuff, very imaginative!
I about overdosed on aircraft, how about some armor pix?
Our old buddy, Dave Dunston is back in town! Rumor has it he's our newest MA member.
Check it out, lots going on in there.
The show looked like it was a big hit with the attendees, kudos to the sponsoring chapters! That's a wrap, Iron Mike reporting almost live from Sumter, SC.
