This is kewl!

Not been posting so much lately but try to follow what's going on :)
Here are some things i have been working on, the bunker is sent to Simon at Great north roads and will be available shortly :)
It is inspired by verlindens bunker but a little changed and refined in some places.

Excellent lineup going there Tankbuilder! Nice work!

John, base looks great. And those look like silkscreen masks for a T-shirt.

Helios, looking forward to seeing the F-4.

Me, I have about five armor models, three aircraft and two or three ships on the bench right now. Space shuttle is still there too. I gotta finish that!

Looks to be some great work going on...I'm working on Academy's new Lend-Lease M10....nice detail so far...

I like the not re usable road block.....simple but looks real good because of the texture (y)

:eek:ldguy You definitely got the skills,

I did a bit of painting. Trying the new Mission Model Paints. Still having issues with my painting but the paints have surprised and delighted me in the self leveling. So unlike before the paint job still looks good to me. I have 3 weeks coming up so hope to finish some of my projects. This is the BUK.

Some touching up on the turret before the next colour then the chassis.

So you like the Mission Model paints then, James? Looking good. :good:
I think so Mike. Still having issues with painting. When I tried the primer the first time I did the 60/30/10 with paint/thinner/and polyurethane. It splattered and I made a mess. I was so ticked off I never looked at it again for over a month. It was recommended that I do 50/50 paint and thinner. I reprimed and it worked well. I was quite happy to find there wasn't a sludge of paint as other primers have given me. Then I did the turret with Russian Green using the 70/30 and a bit of the polyurethane.
Again I had a problem where the paint splattered when I started painting even though I started off the model The coats were thin and took a few passes to cover. I put it away again expecting the paint to show the splatters like some on my models done in ammo of Mig paints. I checked the next day though and could see no evidence of the splatters. It was a nice smooth covering. I was really impressed and very happy. Next is to put some blue tac masks on and spray the cream colour and see how it goes. Overall I am impressed, but I need to find out why I cant paint anymore. In the new year I am planning to get an IWATA and a new compressor and some lessons down in Edmonton. I hope the lady there can show me what my issues are. I will get more Mission Model paints though and try some more. Every review I have read and watched has been glowing and even new painters cant seem to make a mistake so I'm determined to get it right.

James, I don't see any issues with your painting. It all seems so well done. Better than some of my paint work.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Got my buddy interested a bit in model building. This is his 3rd or 4th build. It's the older Tamiya King Tiger aka Tiger II in 1/35 scale.

Been working on a few review builds...Takom Panther is nearing the paint stages...pics soon. The Academy M10 is nearing the end...gotta figure out the drivers hatch... instructions went wonky on that installation step...once that's fixed I'll get to weathering...

Well the cam job has gone by the road side. I just cant navigate the stairs too well. I made an effort tonight to go and paint the radome. Missiles may be a while. Any critiques or thoughts are welcome. Any thing else I do on this with an airbrush will take a while.
