Airfix F-51D 1/72

I started this kit a little while ago but just now got around to getting it buttoned up and painted. Sorry there are no cockpit shots. The only thing I added were some Eduard PE harnesses.

Painted with Floquil Old Silver and Model Master insignia red.

I will be doing this scheme from Mike Grant. Since I live in Indiana when I saw this sheet came out I just had to pick it up.

Hope to have it finished up by the end of the weekend.

Thanks guys! Dave, no you didn't but I was born in 82 so I was probably here although very young!

The Mike Grant decals were a treat to work with. I would recommend them any time. All the parts are ready for final assembly. Hope to have it wrapped up soon!

Thanks Bob! I am shocked I didn't get any silvering under the large ANG-578 decals considering they are mostly just carrier film. I thought about cutting them all out but I got lazy, didn't do that, and got lucky. Great decals!
