Air brush inquiry

I had/have one. It used to be my fav. Then it died. Got the Badger Revelution. I should revisit this thing and see if I can get it working.

I'm considering the TAMIYA 74802 Sparmax Airbrush SX 0.5D . :hmmm

I could use a brush for priming and shooting paint on large areas . I have been thinking I needed one for a long time and after watching Paul Budzic's video on priming , he confirmed my thoughts.

If my pockets were as deep as his, I would go with his recommendations but since it's my money I'd rather do it with an $ 80 AB. if I can.

Which one do you have james and what do yo think of the quality ?

Cheers, Christian B)

Had to Google Search it: http://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDQQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamiya.com%2Fenglish%2Fproducts%2F74802%2Findex.htm&ei=Bg6jVMu4MtDmaqehgKAI&usg=AFQjCNFc20J3oy-HspSi5qmzMa-TpOGq9Q&bvm=bv.82001339,d.d2s&cad=rja

In the early 90's I got myself a Tamiya HG Airbrush,I'm still using and loving it. (y)
Someone told me that Tamiya Airbrushes are made by Iwata, think they are high quality stuff.

Gr,Ron.

Certainly has the same lines as an Iwata, just a different back.

Tamiya does that often, partners up with another quality Japanese company for a while, then have them sub contract for their brand. For years in the Asian market only, the 1/16 RC tank kits came with Futaba Attack radio systems (everyone else just got Futaba shaped holes in the styrofoam), then recently switched to Tamiya radios, which are still the Attack with a Tammy nameplate.
