I bought an AFV kit awhile back and the protective sheet stuck to the decals but I did get it removed.
When I put the decals in water they fell apart.
I bought an AFV kit of 88 ammo and shipping boxes for my Grille 10s. The protective sheet was so stuck to
the decals there was no way to remove it. I cut one decal off the sheet and wet it to see if the protective paper would release, it didn't and the decal also broke into pieces.
Just to be safe you might as well buy some AM decals when you buy an AFV kit to save you some time and
aggravation.
Just my opinion
