Hi TnT'rs.

I have been silently plugging away on this kit in the background for entry into a contest. If anyone here has ever watched the ScaleModelAddict on youtube then you might know what I am talking about.

Anyhow, I'm almost done and thought I'd post a couple pictures to show where I am at with this. It's a lovely little kit and I will be buying/building more of these in the future. As always, comments, questions, ideas and critiques are always welcome.

If you have some time to kill and want to watch some videos, I have the entire build/paint/weathering process on four separate videos on youtube, about ten minutes each. If you feel like watching you can check them out below, I tend to goof around from time to time to make it entertaining, so feel free to laugh at my expense, it's all good.

:D

*If you're not a Pink Floyd fan, you might want to turn the sound down.

Hey good stuff Kenneth!
A right grimy sod it is, with deht in all the nooks and crannies...
I have heard of the build online, but will have to wait until tmrw to watch your links (only for the build/paint/weathering process; I laugh at your expense already ;) ) as it is after midnight (and something evil's lurking in the dark...)

Good stuff comrad.
Oh one lil thing... The circled star on the bonnet (ok, hood) is begging for a tiny section to be wiped back to show some bright white coming through... :eek:hmy: :pinch:

Brad :side:

Ken, I watched all four and yes, I did pick up more than a few things to use on my builds. Thanks for posting it and taking the time to put it together. Well worth the time to watch!

Tom

P.S. Pink Floyd is da bomb!!

Thanks Tom, glad to hear you liked the videos. It's much easier to let the camera role as you work instead of stopping to take pictures, the work is in the editing it all together to fit into the youtube time limit.

P.S. I agree. B)

outstanding, looks great Ken.

Thanks Bob. Notice there's no tracks on this one?

:D

Very nice looking Ken. And your videos are very inspiring. I enjoyed watching them today. Do a couple more and then make a DVD and I'll be in line waiting to pick it up. Imaging a modelling movie on Friday night vice the ghost shows I'm currently forced to endure.

woooooooops, missed this one earlier!

great work ken! the mud looks aweseome ... well, the whole jeep looks awesome but the mud strikes!

Hi James, thanks for the feedback and comments on the model and my videos. I really appreciate the kind words.

If I ever make a DVD, you'll get one for free.

:D

Hey Laura, thanks for the comments. Glad to hear it looks good.
