Adventures from Woodland

Are you going to insulate and rock the lid? Seeing these pics gives me flashbacks to my daylight basement work. I'm just glad it's over. And hey, what's wrong with putting up sheet rock, it's the mud and taping that I hate, HA!

Steve, I had enough fun taping and mudding the walls. Not going there again as I hate doing ceilings, doing that part of the bathroom was enough for me. Everything else will be beadboard, as I like the pattern and it is pre-painted. And yes, there will be insulation up there but it has to wait for the installation of 24 solar panels on the roof which should happen within the month, hopefully. Just got the beadboard up on the end walls.

This is going to be a fantastic work space! I would get lost in there, considering I have a 11 X 7 3/8 work space! :p:

I ended up paying "the man" to do my ceiling. Ended up being cheaper than if I had drafted @errains Eric and @iambrb Bruce and bought the material myself.
I like the idea of beaded board for ceiling.

Solar panels are going up this week. The bench is busy as well but all slow projects, so I have been filling in with some support stuff.

The Hasegawa Ground Support Set A, portions of 3 ESCI GSE sets (it takes more than one, some of the parts are fragile on these kits and they have been laying around the stash for a long time and are of suspect origins. No surprise some parts are absent!), the Monogram F-16C waiting for Thunderbird decals to be applied, and a Hasegawa B-47 that has been on the bench for so long it is starting to haunt my dreams. It's getting close, though. All but the B-47 are 1/48, of course.

Nice, @errains I'm testing myself. There's a Dash60, a Hi-Pack (was it some sort of compressor, vacuum?) and of course Jammers.

B47 wing detail look great, that's not out of the box is it?

I've had my own website for some time, and have been planning on migrating it to a new server because the old one didn't support secure (https) addressing, but things got critical as about 10 days ago four houses burned right next to where my old server was. They didn't have enough backup power to handle the long power outage while the firefighters did their thing so most of my files on the server were lost. I had it all backed up of course. It has been a bit busy since then getting things reworked for the new server, but I'm making good progress and having fun visiting old friends from the bench and other places. there is a reference section that some people have found useful that is all back up. Maybe some of you can look through and let me know if you find broken things. I'm well into the model pages now, about 50 models but that's probably around 500 pages on models alone so far, probably more. Code I wrote 20 years ago is a pain in the tusch to clean up.

Here's the root address but there are of course many pages that will generate a 404 error. All of the files relating to my R/C kits should be working, and the Propplanes link which is the reference section I was talking about. My Armor section is up as well, mostly trucks but there are two tanks types, one the M74 retriever.

Just finished up the B-36 section this afternoon, now it's on to the B-47. Any airplane type with an alphabetical type name up to that should be good, but you can't go in the order the pictures are posted in. The Tabular listing link at the top of the Model page will give a better result as it is alphabetical, sort of.

Also, there is a page not linked to on the index pages, on my garage project which is operation, though the heat pump won't get here until tomorrow and there is some interior trim around doors and windows still to do.
