A (nother) very crazy hobby

Hello everyone,

I was reluctant to start this Topic, since many of you will consider me beyond any hope of recovery, but I do have another crazy Hobby which actually you might help me with.

Ever since I was a small kid I have been fascinated with cars and particularly with license plates. I actually learned how to read on them (I told you, crazy as a bat). So I have started collecting them, or at least Pictures of them. I have about 500 of them, mostly from Europe and many from the USA. Nonetheless, I would be happy to get my Hands on some pics from exotic places like Minnesota or California, which I don't have yet.. :yipee

So here is my question for you: if you see a different, interesting license plate, could you snap a Picture and send my way? I would greatly appreciate it. If you want I am happy to send some of mine in return. Here are a few examples of my collection.

If this is too crazy simply delete this post, Bob.

Thanks a lot in advance guys.

Cheers

I tend to hang onto plates off my old cars. I'm probably going to end up using some of them as "paneling" for some cabinet doors in the garage. Don't have much variety...just a pile of Washington plates.

I might have an old tag I can send to you Alex. Granted, South Carolina may not be as exotic as Minnesota but it'll add to your collection. :rotf

Thanks Chris and bob!

I can most definitely use pictures of your old plates, I only have new ones from SC and WA. In any case, you may eventually come accross something else like British Columbia, Alberta or Idaho in WA, or maybe Mississippi which I also don't have. If so, I would appreciate a picture!

Thanks!

Alex

I'm pretty sure I still have my Canada plate somewhere. Its what we had in Germany. Will look and see.

Thanks James. Also recent Canadian plates are very welcome (I only have Ontario)...

Much appreciated!

Cheers

That is different . Not sure any of us are any saner though.

The least seen ( to me ) in the US are Wyoming, Hawaii and Alaska .

Just saying...

Yeah, i definitely need WY, HI and AK plates. No chance of seeing them in DC. :)

Did not have any of the above on hand as I never see them when the camera is handy.

However, I just reached across the pond and got you a couple that you may not have....Just to keep the craziness going.

Cheers, Christian B)
