Cindy picked up some of these Erectorset lite kits she wanted me to build for her Special Needs classroom.

So of course I started with the airplane. :pilot

Sorry Phil, prop don't spin. I guess I could have gotten some lock washers and some sort of bushing that would let the prop spin. Took a couple of hours, mostly trying to get the nut on the screw in those tight places with my fat fingers! :rotf
 
Sweet mate - I'm sure the kids will love it. Special Needs teacher your other half ? If that's the case, we have something in common (on top of being mad about models) :D

Jeff I found the Erector set website and it looks like they are doing mostly kits now. I remember them being just stuff that you create, sort of like the Lincoln Logs and Legos of old.
