A couple of builds finished

Haven't had much bench time lately with work and everything but I just finished up with the other two builds that I started for the Quarter Scale Madness Campaign but didn't finish. I tried to finish three builds during that campaign but only got the one done.

Heller Me 262 B out of the box except for decals which were scavenged from other kits.

I still think that the Heller Me-262B was one of their better kits. The shapes seemed right. I see you eliminated the raised panel lines. nice airbrush work on all of them.

Regards,

A cool trio even though the ME 1099 looks like it would be better e=suited to the Autobahn than the air.

I completely agree with the Heller being the better kit. The wing /engines fit together much better,

The Revell kits still use the 1960's 262 kit . Still no better than before.

Lovely paintwork though (y)

All three are superb, but for me the old Heller kit is the most impressive, this proves that even older kits can look really good if you are willing to put in a little more effort in building and finishing them.

Thanks everyone. Yes, the old Heller kit turned out to be quite the pleasant build. Once I removed the outrageously over scaled raised panel lines it really started to look the part.
