1967 AC Cobra 427

I got this a while ago at a show for around $5. It looked like a nice little kit. Its an old Monogram Ultimates 1/43 AC Cobra 427. The kit has a full engine [I'm told most 1/43 cars dont] and included some great photoetch. I did add some flocking [probably too much] and wired the engine a bit. The finish is actually Tamiya Metallic blue. I did several thin coats, then did a clear coat of future. I did not polish it. After a light coat of future, it put a heavier coat on, then stuck it under a cover for a week.

Good shot of the wheels. The rims are 5 parts, three of which are PE.

Those old 1/43 scale Monogram kits were pretty cool. Nice job, Rob! (y) :drinks

Thanks guys. I actually enjoyed doing this one so much, I got another cobra and picked up the '67 vette which was their other kit in the series [only two]
