Hey guys. After a long break thanks to Hurricane Laura, I'm finally back at the bench relaxing and building. I've had an idea to build as many of the ships as I can that were named after Louisiana and it's cities and parishes. First up was the WWII heavy cruiser New Orleans. I airbrushed the deck color and then, over a couple of weekends, hand painted the vertical surfaces. Here she is. I'll make a fitting water base later on. Thanks for looking!

Getting back to the bench must feel good! She's a Beaut! :good:
1942? Which kit? Any impressions of warnings?

It does feel good. It means we are finally mostly moved in and we can relax. I say mostly because we still have to go through the storage container, but most of that stuff is trash as a lot was damaged by rain.
