Well-- I needed something quick to build while I was laid up this week on my vacation-- so among a few other projects-- this is where I am at now...still some detail painting to do, as well as loads of weathering-- but I plan on this one being a Kursk TD...

Trying to sort through my Tamiya Russian infantry set to find a tank rider or two but have to be careful...most of the figures have cold weather gear, but Kursk took place in mid to late summer...

Thanks guys...there isn't much out there on Google on this one...just a lot of other modelers pieces...but I get the general idea ;)

Looking good, Mike! This might help some, similar series anyway. http://www.primeportal.net/tanks/dmitry_kiyatkin/su-100/index.php?Page=7 Good for color details and such. (y)

Really trying to get the bench cleared in time for my doozie of a project for the spring contest over at SMA...still want to play around with this one a bit...need to flatten things out a bit more and play with the exhausts as well. Anything I am missing or any other feedback is welcome...

Hey, it's looking really good, Mike! Have you clear coated back over the decals yet? There's a few bits of silvering on a couple decals, but might disappear with some clear or another dab of decal solution. Adding a dark pin wash on the wheels will make the details in there pop, I like to do that over a gloss finish, so that could fix the decals too. You can flat the whole thing when you've got the washes where you want them.

Looking forward to the finished product!! (y) :drinks

Thanks guys!

Yeah Mike...still more work to do there ;). I lost the front tow hooks so am not sure what to do there...might have to add some stowage or some such...and I still have to add the aerial...
