Well-- I wasn't crazy about the decals, but then realized I could finally reward a certain person with a Sharkmouth type build...so here goes....

Good choice!

Regards,

Looking forward to this. Always liked that AMT kit. Are you going to do a straight oob? I know True Details has a nice set of resin tires that also comes with the life raft that fits right behind the cockpit.

Lovely markings! I want to buy the entire kit just for these decals :ro: (have one original AMT box).

All the best!
Dusan.

Got some updates...working on those blasted D-Day stripes ;) Nearly done-- then I need to touch up and Future for decals...pics soon!

Ugh...the more I try to touch up the stripes, the more I need to touch up the other parts...still working on this one but it'll definitely be done by June...just not by tomorrow night ;)

Stripes still aren't perfect...but I should be able to touch things up....here's the progress so far:

I wouldn't touch-up the stripes too much, remember they were painted in a h*ll of a rush, wasn't too much time to make them 'neat'.... Some units had only 12hrs notice so the poor ground crews worked through the night to get them done....

The model looks just great to me.

Exactly as Mats wrote, these stripes were hastily applied! It is nice to see a smile on that Havoc!

Regards,

Well...this one was nearly done-- just had to paint the clear parts and add the fiddly bits...but I am waiting until my Pibber is ready for paint so I can kill 2 OD birds with one stone ;)
