I've been reading a few rumors about this coming out, but no official information. Well it seems like it will be out in July. I will be preording one as soon as I see it available.

The other twin will be awesome and the one of which I will get a few (thanks to the markings possibilities)...

If it is a 1/48 Japanese twin or a B-18 Bolo, or B-23 Dragon

No, this one was widely used, exported, saw combat in many theaters and several variants with different engines.

Regards,

Hmm, well you got me stumped to even begin to think what it will be. :hmmm With the huge amount of markings I wouldn't think Soviet because their stuff always seems to be a bit bland. Guess I'll just have to wait :D

Saw this somewhere on the web a week or two ago. Looks like it will be an interesting kit. I may have to consider it!

Hahahahaha  now that you mention it........... I watched a Russian war drama on Utube a few years back, which was about the social goings on in a torpedo squadron around a certain historical event, that has since been pulled due to copyright issues, that used real Il-4's. The exteriors of these planes was painted black, apparently to match the Black and White sequences of WWII movie clips used in the film, which were mostly clips WWII British Blenhiems although the actual planes used by the squadron the story is based on happened to be Hampdens apparently, and they did fire these planes up and taxi them around in the movie. Since the actual movie was filmed in colour I will tell you that I won't care what the instructions or anyones else says, I'm painting the interior of mine green :D
