1/35 S-38B (E-Boat)

I have been upgrading the the latest Italeri Schnellboot S-38 in to a S-38B.

The unarmoured type 38 bridge got a partly armoured bridge,the 38 bridge was cut to shape and the armoured bridge was build on top of it ,
This feature was standard on the new S-100 types.

I ordered he Armoured S100 bridge from the Italeri spareparts service.
It is lacking alot of detail, still need to ad rivets ect......
And corrected the diameter of the bow gun pit.

The twin MG34 is from Plusmodel......the Bofors gun shield is 3d printed by Shapeways.

working on the he whatcha ma call it for the Sea mines.
The Mines i wil be using.

Test fitted the Torpedo loading tube ends.

The bridge known as “kallote” is primed ....i leave it for a day than i start adding the Archer rivets.

The sea mine ramps are done.

Sanded off all the kit rivets Primed it and ready for more rivets.

They are from Archer decal resin rivets

ldguy A beter option would be the rivets from Micro Mark you get loads more rivets for your money

I think you're better off with the Archer, higher quality IMNSHO...
