Glad everything worked out! As far as having a fire extinguisher, if that thing (or anything else) gets hot enough, all a dry chemical extinguisher will do is knock down the flames temporarily. You have to remove the fuel source or else it will just flare right back up. So what you ended up...

I remembered that I had a bottle of MM Sand, which actually looks like more of a dirty white color. I just need to figure out what to mix it with. Probably a few drops of some kind of yellow.

Welcome aboard! 1) You can enter anytime you wish, you just need to post some sort of proof that you didn't begin you're build before the official start date 3) I have no suggestions. 2) The kit needs to be un-started which pretty much ties in with #1 up there. Good luck on whatever you decide.

I grabbed this a few weeks ago at HL with a 40% off coupon. Might as well build it. I will be doing the jarhead version. Anyone know what colors I can mix or use as a substitute for "Desert Sand"? I don't feel like buying yet another jar of paint that I will use once and then probably never...
