    1/48 Tamiya P-47D completed

Thanks guys I appreciate all the nice comments. The markings are from Zotz decals. A friend of mine gave me these a few years ago and I've really been wanting to use them. The funny thing is this model is much dirtier and grungier in person. I need better ligthing. I've got more lights but...

    Kids today...

Oh man I know that feeling well. Our oldest who is 18 now and a good driver had never driven anything before either. This is the same girl who I once saw ride her bicycle at full speed into our garage door because "she forgot how to stop!" Now our second oldest has just turned 16 and she had a...

    1/48 Tamiya P-47D completed

1/48 Tamiya P-47D Thanks guys. Painting is done! Had a muck up on the top of the left wing right near the fuselage join. Somehow a blob of something got on it and smeared and ate into the paint. Sooooo out came the sandpaper and polishing pads. :bangs head Then I thought hey that looks pretty...

The FATALLY FLAWED/UNBUILDABLE Campaign. :rotf I like that. I can see us all building absolutely terrible kits and pulling our hair out the entire time. :vmad :gogo

    1/144 B-2 Stealth Bomber

Yes Mike it should. Bob what I do is dip the brush in the glue then wipe both sides off on the bottle lip. You don't want a whole lot. Just enough to melt the decal on the spot your putting it and not run anywhere else.

    Question about using Future

I don't know if it actually goes bad but I just used my oldest bottle on my floor (heaven forbid!) because it had developed a distinctly yellow tint. Like you I have developed a hate for it as a gloss coat. I've never ever been able to get it to spray right and while others are perfectly happy...

    1/144 B-2 Stealth Bomber

Nothing is more infuriating to me than decals that won't behave! Well that and ghost seams. Hope it works out for you. I have not had much luck with that method. The trick I recently discovered that works for me every time is to apply a little Tamiya Extra thin to the problem area. Just a real...
