Thanks for the comments!! For some odd reason my flat coat ran a little to the shiny side so I gave it a shot of Minwax Polycrylic Ultra Flat wood finish. Worked a treat! Very much like the old days spraying Future for a gloss coat.

Finished! For a change I had fun with this. Anyway it’s done and now on to the next one.

After considerable time collecting dust, I finally got a chance to slop some paint. Not very pretty, but good enough for me. If you stand back far enough it actually looks presentable. Gonna let this dry for a day or two then seal it.

The Yellow with green and red/brown. I know there’s a name for that scheme but I can’t recall it.

I got tired of fighting the PE dangling balls on the Merkava, and pulled this down off the shelf. Very simple and easy build. Actually two afternoons this past weekend.
