Thanks Chuck and Bob for the heads up/ suggestions. I was going to compromise with the canopy frame as I don't want to do any sanding so I will paint the rlm66 then mask the outside of the horizontal frame that runs head height down the side. Perhaps not accurate but I'm lazy lol. I will try...

Thanks for the interest guys, I have started now - Meng have given you nice detail on the inside of the canopy so that has been masked too. I have heard that there may be an issue with the fit of the glazing, however the little test fitting I have done so far hasn't shown any problems...yet...

Just to add another way of dealing with the wing ( more options are a good thing). The way I did it was to join the two lower half pieces together first so you then have one lower wing piece like say a 109 or a spitfire kit. This way you will have no seam to deal with as you can get a nice join...
