The "feather" decals went on without too much trouble. These are the largest decals I've ever done. I wish I had done the stenciling afterwards. Anyway, I think they look ok too me. Gary S.

In my opinion the Revell F-15E kit is on par with any other brand. This afternoon, the silver was painted with a different shade on some panel lines. Tomorrow it will get a coat of Future in prep for the decals. I also got a start on painting the missiles. Gary S.

The fit of the exhaust nozzles is very poor. Had to break out the file in order to square up the rear of the fuselage. Then filler was needed for some small gaps. There's an opening between the nozzles than should be filled which I discovered too l a re to do anything about. As shown, the detail...

Way back in the 60's MPC did a model of the GT40 that won Lelmans that I built back then. It had the complete engine and chassis. I would love to build it again in Gulf colors. Gary S.

The second color was painted yesterday. I was able to mask off the nose and center spine camo, but not the wings or tail. They were just over sprayed a little. I made mask for these areas by first m drawing the shape onto index cards and then. cutting them out to use as templates over masking...
