All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

I am taking a short break from building as i tend to work in a complete mess so i need to do something about that.
You and me both. I'm trying hard to resist pulling apart my work bench right now and breaking out the saw to chop the thing up. I need to get a pegboard backing and accessories but I don't want to go to the home improvement store on a Saturday at the first of the month.

I just cleaned up my hobby room and really need to spend a bunch of time working on my whole house, then the garage, attic, yard. Yeah.
I start my radiation treatments Monday the 4th, first of 33 which will be 5 a week till done. Going to suck before it is all done I am sure.

Thanks Saul, thats the single speed one but to be honest thats all you need because the variable speeds are really close together like 500/600/700 /800 , 500/600 is really too slow for very small drills anyway. Only disadvantage is the chuck is actually a 2.35mm collet so you need 2.35mm shank drills but they are readily available on amazon.

That is why I use the ancient separate speed control with my old Dremel. I can run it from VERY slow to full tilt boogie, though I usually run it slow. I have never had good results with battery operated drills etc. Either the battery is drained, or the battery died because it was on the charger too long. Never ready when I need it.

Sure @paddy but the multi-speed one is unavailable on Amazon for the US. I have one from Wowstick:

Looks good James
, i like it has 1200rpm, if i had to fault mine i would say 900rpm is a bit slow, not a problem, but 1200 would be better.

WIP,

For all you 1/35 scale plane haters , i am :batthis 1/35 Heinkel 111

Slow progress because i am waiting on the Quinta studio 3d decal interior set (before of the end of next month 🤞)
Before i can glue the halves together .

I thinned the inside with a metal scraper for a more realistic look of the battle damage .
This side shows the incoming rounds other side has the outcoming damage .

Beautiful engine btw.

And you guys say these motors are true and no wobble? That's my biggest hangup with the Dremels I have, I've entertained the idea of a Foredom setup but I don't use this stuff that often to justify the cost. Or is it that I don't use it because the wobble...

No wobble Bob but i have to say i bought mine as its essential for MFH models but didnt have a lot of use for one before that .Its the sort of thing you buy off ebay about midnight after you put the whiskey glass down:)
