Charlie Still Don't Surf! AH-1G References

Like they said, it's probably something to do with the assigned mission. Our guys never did that as far as I know. The teeth on the Fourth Cav. ship are not the original pattern that we used. And don't forget to tint the canopy light blue. Gary S.

It was painted brick red yesterday because that's the color I had most of. It shows every lump, bump and divot. Kind like a fat lady wearing leggings. So that means more sanding and filling. Thinking about using Bondo for any filling.Gary S.

Attention to detail makes the difference. Speaking of boats, I would have love to have seen the USS Constitution and a Viking ship in the parade of boats. Gary S.

Been there, done that. The clutch cable would often break on my Kawasaki 900 on the way home. No, I don't have it anymore. I sold it in the mid eighty's. Gary S.

Seems like the more I putty and sand, the more places I putty and sand!! The fins are just temporarily taped on to see how they look. Looks good enough to me.As long as the basic shape looks ok. Gary S.

So far there's been two applications of JC and sanding. Some places still need fill and more sanding. After that I'm thinking of brushing on a coat or two of Future then a spray primer. Gary S.

Following Saul's recommendation, the model was sprayed with poly urethane. It was the only sealer on hand. This morning, the first coat of joint compound was applied around the nose and upper fuselage and wings. Kinda looks like the soldier in white from Catch 22. Gary S.
