    I can't do any airbrushing because the compressor is not hooked up and the garage space is taken up with fresh painted house projects. So I'm working on the base stand, battery and switch placement. Gary S.

    I found that the Humbrel thinner is crap for airbrushing. Had better luck with Testor's MM airbrush thinner if you can find it. Gary S.

    Yesterday, I sprayed on Rustoleum's automotive gray primer and I think all of the sanding and filling came out pretty good. This morning the spinner and tail cone was painted red for the VMF-214 markings in Korea. Gary S.

    A clear piece of plastic sheet was used on the gun sight before attaching the front windscreen. Which barley fit. A mixture of Elmer's and craft paint was used to fill the gaps. Later, when it dries, it can be wet sanded to shape. A small hole was drilled into the st. upper fuselage near the...

    Although not great, the fit of the canopy is about as good as it's going to get. Elmer's glue is used to fill in the gaps. Gary S.

    More work being done on the canopy fit. The front wind screen frame needed shining up with plastic card and the rear frame needs shaving down where the black Sharpie is marked. Gary S.
