Following Saul's recommendation, the model was sprayed with poly urethane. It was the only sealer on hand. This morning, the first coat of joint compound was applied around the nose and upper fuselage and wings. Kinda looks like the soldier in white from Catch 22. Gary S.

We just happen to have joint compound, so I'll give it a try. Thanks! Do I spread it over the whole surface? In the meantime, I used whiteout on some of the seams this morning. Some people use it on plastic models. Joint compound will be a lot less toxic. Gary S.

The engine nacelles were glued together this morning, but after looking at pics of the "real" thing, they are about four inches short. Hopefully, I can make some extensions. I really had my head up my ass on this. Gary S.

Pretty good SWAG job on the engine nacelles. They are just temporarily taped on, a little trimming is needed. The interior will be blanked off and painted black. Engine detail will be omitted. It'sTOP SECRET. The Chinese might be looking. Gary S.
