    F4U-4 Korean War 1/48th scale

Finally got the wings on with just slight gaps. Had to change the wiring of the motor as the first one was too delicate and cept breaking. Redid the tail wheel fairing after looking at pictures and my F4U-1 by Tamiya. It was in a storage box and I had to dig it out. Gary S.

    F4U-4 Korean War 1/48th scale

    F4U-4 Korean War 1/48th scale

No, it's from stuff I've been collecting over the years and there's a lot of it. Just ask my wife. As far as the model goes. The places where the hinges are was a depression the was filled with a couple of layers of sheet plastic. The oil cooler fairings need cleaning up along with the wing...

    F4U-4 Korean War 1/48th scale

Finally got the wings together without too much trouble. Added belly tank and started on the bombs. Now if I can stop getting glue on my fingers and spreading it on the model and not ending up with a hairball. Gary S.
