    Spitfire canopy 1/48th scale

The replacement parts came from a Tamiya kit. Should fit well enough or I'll make them fit and they will like it. Thanks so much for looking and surviving the avalanche. Gary S.

    Scratch 1/48th scale Topgun Darkstar

Glued upper and lower fuselage parts to corrected profile and set up side profiles. I found unused F-15 landing gear last night that with a little modification will work. This whole project is one bid SWAG. I placed my F-15 model next to the initial cut out for a size comparison. Gary S.

    Scratch 1/48th scale Topgun Darkstar

I must be crazy. Ever since I saw that "aircraft", it was love at first sight. I figured that if it came out in 1/48th scale it would be unaffordable for me anyway. I've heard of people making models out of cardboard or card stock so I'm going to try it.The leading edge and fuselage were trimmed...

    A6M5 Zero and Ki-61 Tony

Thanks Saul!! Yes, the Macchi is the Hasagawa kit. A fun build. It really has close lines to the Tony. The B-25 is the Revell/Monogram kit. The nose was modified with a lot of putty the make it a gunship and the face was hand painted. Gary S.

    A6M5 Zero and Ki-61 Tony

They are done! Some comparison pics of the Tony and a Me-109G and a Macchi 202. The Zero is displayed with my B-25. Gary S.

    A6M5 Zero and Ki-61 Tony

Both modes have been flat coated, masking removed and props installed. The Zero needs some touching up. Gary S.
