Hatch is for the driver to check tire wear.

And the strap on the dash to keep the car in gear?? That's wild! Don't see that in the pictures of the convertible at Daytona that I have.

Nice to see that the door inserts were kept in place. Mike and I were questioning if they would have stripped the interior, guess this answers that question.

Yes the strap is to hold the shifter in gear.

I also noticed in the picture the convert still has tail lights, and this car does not.

Door panel should still be easy to make.

I'm guessing that convertible was brand new. The finish looks showroom fresh. Maybe they just haven't busted out the tail lights yet?
