Archer Surface Details... he told me he was stopping production and I bought EVERYTHING on his shelves... should last me my Buddhist lifetimes...

So, what did you overstock on?

Regards,

I generally overstock on Vallejo Model Colour White and Black. I usually forget that 1) I have these colours already, and 2) that I seldom use them. :D

Tanex7, heard they were going out of business...way back when I bought my first box some 20 years ago... I don't buy 12 at a time anymore, just 2 or 3 at a time.

#11 xacto Blades. I have 400 blades and use one new blade per project - kinda overkill when I do 4-6 projects a year!

Ditto,I bought a lot of Tenex last year or so when the rumor was they were going out of business

So my overstock is still the most costly one shown so far...

As for glue overstock I bought two bottles (a pint each) of MEK, one of Tenax 7, one of Pastruct Weldene (ABS & Styrene), one of Plastruct non Toxic (for my boy to use with supervision), one of Testors liquid, one of Testors Modelmaster, one of Testors Modelmaster clear parts cement, one of Tamiya thin, plenty of CA but no tube glue. OK, forgot two bottles of Gator's Grip Hobby Glue, Elmer's White Glue, Elmer's Black Glue (yes, it comes in colors), epoxy cement, and wood glue.

I still think I forgot something, better go to the workshop and check it out...

Regards,

Wish I had an overstock of anything...but I guess the thing I have the most of is unbuilt Dauntless kits... with 4 in the stash now...

The only overstock I have is all those darn Dragon spares you get in almost every kit. To top that off I build so many wrecks and relics that I don't even use most of the parts that ARE suppose to be used :hmmm

one could say that i'm overstocked with tristar panzer 38(t) kits but one can never have enough panzer 38(t) in the stash!

after having built two, i still have three ausf g, two e/f, one b and the dml g (the latter waiting for the royal treatment with griffon pe)

Saul,

We have something in common here. I have over 400 Archer dry transfer sets. More than I could possibly ever use!! This isn't all of them, more in the other workshop!

400, Isn't that more than they actually offer?? I guess you could say I"m over stocked on F4F wildcat boxes who's parts have been butchered. And I don't even particularly like the Wildcat...

MP, really?? The only thing I can come up with is 4 Hasegawa 1/32 F-86's. I think I might have 5 sets of decals for an MIG21...........Harv :silly:

Bob, I was only showing the old Surface Details sets... I do have plenty more and agree with your statement! Dry transfers completely fill up one drawer of my work desk and the other is completely filled with water slide decals!

Regards,

I would have said I'm overstocked on models ... but if I look at your stock of transfers, well, I'm feeling better now :)

Well I did forget about the 2-3 each of each of the cyber hobby Tiger 1 kits... But they don't FEEL surplus to me!:mpup
