Clearance section offered these 'crepe' tapes from $0.63USD, $0.74USD, & $0.86USD left to right. If I can't use them, I am sure the wife will take them off my hands.

Looking for a spray CA activator, I found this deal for such a large can with a large bottle of CA included as a bonus. $11.99USD

Went to a Nodel Auction in support of IPMS Lorain County. I was a bad, bad boy:

All of this for $20.00 Two of the kits got back to the owner as they were missing parts. Decals and instructions I can got ahold of but not a part for a 1980's model (without buying another kit) I think I'll build the F8Fs as wiffers in strange decals... and paints, just for shit and giggles.

Went to a show a few weeks ago. There was two Italeri DO 217N at $ 20:00 each . Managed to walk out with both for $ 5:00 . I only needed some parts anyhow. Not a bad catch.

Okay so I have been fortunate to get some extra money and after being responsible I went nuts, there's no other way to explain it. Got a bunch of books I have wanted and then got a bunch of AM, too much to list. For some reason I also came away with this big old bird:

I hate bare metal btw. I also got some tanks and softskins and some more RT Dioramics stuff. Trees, branches for cam in Fir and Oak, a Windmill, a church and a house.

Let the games begin.

@jknaus I have the original release on the B-17 as well as the Memphis Belle release. They are nice kits and I have seen a few built up. Yeah bare metal can be a pain, but as I have learned, the better the surface prep and base paint the better the finish. Yeah I have a bit of practice to do before attempting my B-24 in that scale, but have figured out the basics.

I'm thinking some tech dropped a can of grey on the runway and then dropped a can of OD while checking the topside and this ole bird ended up OD and while taking off ended up grey underneath. Thats my story and I'm sure if you have a few shots or smoke some wacky tabakky you'll agree its plausible
