Finally completed the Imai Knights set! This was a minor though crucial little grail for me. The Ferdinand box far right is the empty box for the built Black Knight. Silver Grey guy on the right, his box is long gone. Be digging into these guys soon. Bob this pic was compressed by Bimp. Its 1.4 MB so it should be fine, if anything is noticed on your side Im certain you'll let me know!

Great stuff. I remember the old Aurora kits as a kid. Gary S.
Thanks, one my earliest kits was an Aurora Musketeer, i assembled, mom helped then she directed me at painting. She was and still is a craft queen. I learned so much from her about art ect. Dad didnt have the paitence for models and hated the mess.

I don't know why we've never made it to that shop. They canceled that model show that was scheduled for Oct we were planning on. We were going to rent a table and everything. I suspect FOOTBALL was the conflict.

Ill let you know what you're in for. This isn't a chain, its a small crowded store that looks like it came from the early 80s. He caters to an absolutely HUGE Rail market in Columbia. And that's over half the store! They have their club at 1800 Lincoln St. Its called AMROC Associated Model Railroads of Columbia. They are open to the public any Thursday evening, though do look them up. THAT place is unbelievable.
New Brookland carries Tamiya paints and others plus has a TON of just boxes stacked on one side. They used to carry a good selection of styrene sheets and brass tube ect, though i wasn't looking at that yesterday. And the old man that runs it is just great.
Minimal Sci Fi, no Bandai or games, though I was impressed yesterday on some of the big kits he had in stock, ships, armor, and some props. He does buy and trade and had a selection of older 72 scale Hasegawa and Tamiya etc planes that looked like they came from a collection.

Its almost like a time capsule, and I hadn't been there in years myself.

Sounds like you have a great local shop. Here in Memphis we have a wonderful hobby shop that caters to RC (mostly cars) slot cars, trains, and recently the bookshelf NOOK kits. It is on a main drag and while the shop has been around for over 20 years, only in the last 4 or 5 years since it moved to the current location has the rest of Memphis noticed. Go in there on any Saturday or Sunday and it is busy city.

Gorgeous figures. I remember those kits, wish I had collected them all when I was younger.
James.
Thanks, they are. I found the two I built in a hobby store in the late 90s, built them then didnt see them anywhere until a friend was selling them on a site, I had to grab them. Think I paid 10 each for the 4 i didnt have. 100% worth it
