1/700 MV Wild Goose. John Wayne's Yacht '62-'79. TLAR #124

1/700 Wild Goose' Masters are done. The underpinnings for the afterdeck put me in mind of 3D Printing. This part goes in a separate shallow, flexible mold to make it easier to remove the intricate, thin part. She had dual anchor winches up forward, but carried only 1 Danforth anchor. I made a 16' speedboat for her out of a 1/700 Chris Craft. It ain't too bad!
Her aft swim platform will be a p/e part.

I did some work today! I didn't spend the whole day dinking around with The Turd.
1/700 Wild Goose mold is filled. There are some repeats, but everything in here is upgraded. Even the li'l SS Minnow got improvements.
Yes, Bob, I'll send you one!
Thanks for looking in!

I cleared the newest molds after 12 hours. All 3 went pretty good, save the upgraded 1/700 SS Minnow. RTV stuck fast to the afterdeck under the overhang. A dousing in isopropyl should have released the RTV, buy didn't help. It did dissolve the Future holding the P/E parts to the Master. This Minnow is a total loss and headed for the burn trash.

NOT a big deal! Wild Goose' Masters emerged perfectly, as did the other 1/700 minutia in the molds. Tonight's first casting will prove the molds and then I get to build The Duke's boat! :yipee:

AND! So do you guys!!:yipee:
